The new video called Chick Swallowed by Cats Belly is doing well, currently at 55,000 views and it got onto Jezebel and Buzzfeed front page.

I had a small problem with monetisation for this most recent video as it was under review for 2 days without monetisation, they are usually monetised instantly. I spent quite a while trying to sort it but YouTube personal customer service is not existent. The most predominant recommendation I found was to go on Firefox, remove monetisation then re-instate it. I tried this but it did not work after many attempts. To see if there was a problem with my account, I uploaded a load of videos including the same one as I had the problem with. They were all monetised instantly which was good and proved there wasn’t a problem with the account.

Eventually I tried making the problematic video very similar to the identical re-uploaded video that monetised instantly. I removed all the tags and the video description. I then removed the monetisation and waited 5 minutes, and then I re-instated the monetisation and closed Firefox. I opened it about 5 minutes later and it was monetised! Just replaced the description and tags and done job, just cost me about 30,000 un-monetised views.
